Since your opponent is coming towards you, it will be more like the movement at 6:48.And combined with the movement at 5 min, your opponent will lean forward, i.e. lose balance. When that happens, probably it is hard for you to execute a men strike.
I would wait until your opponent comes back up after losing balance then strike him/her.

Also, about what you showed at 5 mn, I think I’ll try adding a big cut right after stopping the opponent (well, If I have enough time to do that).
