Each dots must be done properly. This is the hard part. We, human, tend to be lazy and do not do things properly after we learn them. Here comes the discipline!

Is that always how long a mokuso will last?
It usually last 3 breaths. Inhale for a few seconds, hold it down in the lower abs for a few seconds, exhale for 10 to 15 seconds. So one breath should be 14 to 21 seconds. So it would 42 seconds to one minute. Can be longer.
